The Shore Hotel is a 9-storey 4 stars hotel located opposite the Pengerang shore line in Johor. The topology of the hotel’s site inspired its architectural design, with a series of organic shaped blocks stacked on top of each other in a receding fashion, representing an interpretation of the scenic coastline along the beach, as well as forming a streamlined and modern yacht-like outlook.

The building is oriented in a way that the narrower façade is facing east and west, minimizing heat gain from the clear windows surrounding the hotel spaces. The guests are treated with a panoramic view towards the sea, while balconies right outside the glazing allow the guests to experience fresh sea air. The hotel’s curvy design caters to the natural sea breeze, facilitating a better ventilation and air flow through aerodynamic principles. All these solidify the hotel into a premium-class retreat allowing its patrons to indulge in the scenic Pengerang sea view.
